About the Organisation
Location: Institute of design, Nirma University, Ahmedabad Vision: all-inclusive theatre and drama club Purpose: to invite and attract the audience and enthusiastic actors to join the club. To Portray Natak Mandali as one of the top co-curricular activities clubs in the institute and University
Style: Devanagari script, Minimalist, Abstract.
Target audience: students of Nirma university, enthusiastic actors, theatre lovers and also musicians of different instruments who are interested in playing, perform and chit-chat about theatre and drama
About the club: नाटक मंडली is a club where everyone is welcome to take part in discussions and plays regardless of their Institute in the university. The club holds meeting every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after 4:30 PM in the disruptive studio. Monday meetings in the club are reserved for group discussions, screening, and debates on pre-existing plays. Wednesday and Friday are for practice and rehearsal for upcoming plays performed in the university auditorium every Friday of the 4th week of the month. Instruments for the orchestra will be provided by the club. The club as such doesn’t have any language barriers and plays are performed in English, Hindi, and Gujarati language.
